Struggling with blood sugar chaos?
Let's fix your blood sugar problem in just 3 days.
I spent years inside the NHS watching this happen
My name is Rita Nwokeji. As a senior nurse manager in the NHS, I watched the same story repeat on my wards and in my clinics: people arriving later than they needed to, with blood sugar that had been drifting for years while nobody sat down and explained what was actually happening in their body.
They weren't lazy. They weren't non-compliant. They were never taught how blood sugar works — and they were never given a plan they could live with on a night shift, at a family party, or on a tight budget.
That's the gap this masterclass closes.
The UK picture is getting worse, not better
Diabetes diagnoses recorded across the UK, year on year (Diabetes UK registration figures).
£10.7 billion
Estimated annual cost of diabetes to the NHS across the UK — around 60% of it spent treating complications that were, in many cases, preventable.
£18 billion
Projected annual NHS cost by 2035 if prevalence keeps rising at the current rate — over 6% of the entire UK health budget already goes on diabetes.
12 million+
UK adults estimated to be living with diabetes or prediabetes, including nearly 1.3 million who have type 2 and don't yet know it.

Untreated blood sugar shortens life
Diabetes UK reports that type 2 diabetes can reduce life expectancy by up to 10 years and type 1 by up to 20 years. National Diabetes Audit data published through the NHS and the Office for Health Improvement and Disparities consistently shows higher rates of heart attack, stroke, heart failure, kidney failure and amputation among people whose glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol targets are not met.
Every week in the UK, diabetes leads to 184 amputations, more than 1,010 strokes, 700 heart attacks and 3,340 cases of heart failure. The good news buried in the same research: sustained changes to diet, movement and weight can cut the risk of type 2 diabetes by around 50%.
What another year of waiting costs you
Not the NHS. You. Five ways the bill arrives if nothing changes before this time next year.
Another year of borrowed energy
Twelve more months of the 3pm crash, broken sleep and waking up tired. Fatigue is the tax unregulated blood sugar charges you daily — and you pay it in the hours you don't get back with your family.
Complications compound quietly
Diabetes UK reports that every week in the UK diabetes leads to 184 amputations, 700 heart attacks, over 1,010 strokes and 3,340 cases of heart failure. Damage from high blood sugar builds silently, long before symptoms shout.
Medication creep
In England, 71 million items were prescribed for people with diabetes in 2023/24 — up 21 million since 2015/16. Waiting rarely means fewer tablets next year. It usually means more, plus prescription charges, monitoring and appointments.
Lost earnings and lost days
Sick days, reduced hours, early retirement and unpaid caring — the indirect societal cost of diabetes runs into billions each year in the UK, and part of that bill lands directly on the household budget.
Years off your life expectancy
Diabetes UK reports that type 2 diabetes can shorten life expectancy by up to 10 years, and type 1 by up to 20. Every year of poor control is a year of avoidable risk you cannot buy back later.
What Blood Sugar Confidence Actually Is
We name the thing. On Day 1 you learn what healthy blood sugar looks and feels like hour by hour, why yours swings, and how to read your own body's signals — cravings, crashes, brain fog, mood — instead of guessing.
- ✓The confidence baseline: 4 signs your levels are swinging
- ✓Why willpower was never the problem
- ✓The numbers that matter (and the ones that don't)
- ✓How to read hunger, energy and mood as data
- ✓Where you are right now — without shame or blame
By the end of Day 1: You will have a clear, honest picture of your own blood sugar patterns and what confidence looks like for your body.
Name it · Map it · Own it
Most people have never been shown what stable energy actually feels like. They think the 3pm crash is normal, that night cravings are weak character, that brain fog is just age.
Day 1 replaces confusion with clarity. You leave knowing your own baseline and the first three levers that move it.
Understand it · Protect it · Regulate it
This is the clinical why, told in plain English from 20+ years inside the NHS. You see exactly what unregulated glucose does, and how quickly the body responds when you give it steady fuel.
Regulation is not restriction. It is a set of skills you can use at a family party, on a night shift, or on a tight budget.
Why Blood Sugar Regulation Changes Everything
The clinical why, in plain English. What unregulated glucose does to your heart, eyes, kidneys, nerves and mood — and how quickly the body responds when you give it steady fuel, movement and rest.
- ✓The plate, the walk, the sleep: the three levers
- ✓How regulation protects energy, mood and memory
- ✓What improves in the first 90 days
- ✓The real reason small changes outperform big diets
- ✓How to protect your heart, kidneys, eyes and nerves
By the end of Day 2: You understand why regulation matters, what it protects, and the three daily levers that keep your blood sugar steady.
The Decision Point: Freedom or Servitude
The honest day. You either keep negotiating with your blood sugar, or you take the wheel. We build your personal 12-week plan and the exact next step — so the decision is made on paper, not left to another year of hoping.
- ✓Your 12-week Blood Sugar Confidence roadmap
- ✓The relapse plan for holidays, stress and shift work
- ✓Choosing freedom out loud, with support
- ✓How to talk to your GP or diabetes nurse from a place of power
- ✓The one commitment that makes the others stick
By the end of Day 3: You walk away with a written plan, a clear next step, and the decision already made.
Decide it · Plan it · Live it
This is where most courses leave you inspired but empty. We don't. Day 3 is where inspiration becomes a plan you can actually follow.
You choose freedom — not once, but as a system. And you leave knowing exactly what to do on Monday morning.

What people say after three days
I stopped the 4pm biscuit run in the first week. Three months on, my HbA1c is down, my nurse was delighted, and I actually have energy to walk with my grandchildren.
Rita explains it like a nurse and a friend at the same time. Day 2 was the day it clicked for me — I finally understood what was happening in my body.
I'd been told to 'watch my diet' for six years and nobody showed me how. Three days gave me a plan I could actually follow on shifts.
The mood swings were the worst part for my family. Steadying my blood sugar steadied me. My husband noticed before I did.
